Most Children With Asthma Are Under-Treated

There are more than 6 million children with asthma in the United States, and this number is growing every year. Asthma can lead children to miss school, prevent participation in sports and other activities, and affect sleep. And, while there are guidelines available to monitor and treat asthma in children, most physicians and patients over-estimate the control of their asthma. This leads to under-treatment and poor control of asthma.
