How to Use a Nasal Spray

Tuesday September 18, 2007
In my practice as an allergist, I always demonstrate the correct method to use a nasal spray when I prescribe such a medicine. Despite the obvious, most people use nasal sprays incorrectly, which can lead to more side effects and less efficacy. In addition, most of the reasons why people dislike nasal sprays are because of the side effects they experience as a result of inappropriate use. These side effects include nasal irritation, nasal burning, a bad taste, drainage in the throat, and nose bleeds.

So, why not take advantage of the best medicines available for nasal allergies, and ask your doctor for a prescription nasal spray. Find out more about the various allergy nasal sprays on the market today, as well as the correct method on how to use a nasal spray.
