Most parents (especially those with allergies themselves) would like to prevent their young children from developing food allergies. The general consensus from the American Academy of Pediatricians (AAP) along with most allergists is to delay the introduction of highly allergenic foods to young children who are at risk for developing food allergies. However, various recent studies suggest that the early introduction of allergenic foods may be a better strategy to prevent the development of food allergies. The jury is probably still out as to which method is the best way to prevent food allergies in young children.

There are so many reports and studies coming out on the prevention of allergies and eczema and probiotics! I am the mom of a little boy who has had terrible allergies and eczema since he was a baby and I am thrilled that more people are becoming aware of the benefits of probiotics because our son has been helped dramatically by taking his Belly Boost chewables. We love probiotics and I highly recommend this!
