We have been so careful about what we choose to do to “help” our son with his allergies since his allergist a few years ago turned out be a awful. He continued to prescribe steroids until he was so weak and steroid dependent and once we realized this we were able to get help from a different doc at a children’s hospital. Allergy Shots and autoimmune diseases, can a allergy shot be a factor for develop a autoinmune disese? I was reciving a allergy shot tratament when i was 13 years old and i develop polychondritis now im 22.
I want to know if this tretaments can be a factor of risk for this diseases.
