Overcome Egg Allergy!A recent study on children with egg allergy showed that by feeding the children increasing amounts of eggs over a period of time, the children were able to tolerate a large portion of eggs without a reaction.
Numerous studies have been performed over the years on possible treatments for food allergies, including allergy shots. Unfortunately, giving allergy shots for food allergies was found to be dangerous and not successful. While most children will outgrow egg allergy by age 5, other food allergies, such as seafood and nut allergies, can last a lifetime. Find out more about common food allergies in children.
