From the article: Should I Get an Air Cleaner for My Allergies?
I don't routinely recommend that my patients with allergies and asthma obtain an air cleaner. However, there are certain instances that I do recommend an air cleaner -- if a person is allergic to their indoor pet, has evidence of indoor mold contamination, and if a person has severe asthma or allergy symptoms.
Have you purchased an air cleaner in an attempt to reduce your allergy and asthma symptoms? Has it worked? Share your thoughts on why you purchased an air cleaner, and if this has been helpful for your allergy and asthma symptoms.
