From the article: Allergy Symptoms
Many people don't fully recognize their allergy symptoms at first. Some people attribute their symptoms, or those of a child, to having a cold that just won't go away. How did you first realize that what you were experiencing could be allergies? Share what tipped you off before going to get an official diagnosis from a doctor. Share Your Experiences

Yep - that''s allergies

Sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes, congestiion, etc....allergies are here!! It was simply awful - and we didn't have an awful lot of medication we could take back then....Actifed - yuk!! That made you feel like a zombie. I always say that those who haven't had allergies will never relate to those who do!!

I had developed alergies as I get old. When I was in my 20ies I had a severe reaction to Darvon,it almost cost me my life. The doctor said it was an anaphilactic reacction to that drug and to tellany doctor in case I have to have any intervention.Later when I was in my 30s I had a reaction to some food ,I was hospitalized for a week, the doctor ask me what cause me that anaphilactic reation,I dont Know, but I suspect are the insecticede that is or was custumary to spray in certain planes departing from the caribbean to prevent taking insects hitchikers.I am very alergic to pesticides so I have to be very careful with what I touch specialy in areas where the are plants or animals.I have a cat and I am milddy alergic to her dander, but only if I tuoch her and then touch my eyes. The same goes with dogs but it gets worse
