Most people with allergies never get skin tested, which is hard to believe. A person with high blood pressure wouldn't take blood pressure medications without knowing what their blood pressure is; a person with high cholesterol wouldn't take cholesterol medication without knowing what their cholesterol level is. So, why would a person with allergies not have allergy testing done? Allergy testing allows a person to avoid their allergic triggers, know what times of the year to expect allergy symptoms, and allows for allergy shots. What benefits did you get from allergy testing?
