From the article: Overview of Alternative Therapies for Allergic Rhinitis and Asthma
Many people are turning to natural therapies for their allergies instead of using traditional allergy medicines. These natural therapies may include herbal remedies, acupuncture, homeopathy, spinal manipulation and various relaxation and biofeedback methods. While most studies show little to no benefit for natural therapies in the treatment of allergies, many people swear by them. Do you use natural therapies for the treatment of your allergies? Cut Down on My Allergies
- I had allergies so bad I needed shots to control them. I did Hulda Clark's cleanses and got immediate reduction after first liver cleanse. It took about 3 cleanses to cut down to practically no symptoms. I plan to do another liver cleanse and see if they go away completely. By the way, with the liver cleanse, I got thousands of tiny "greenish stones" come out just as Hulda Clark said would happen.

- Acupuncture is an authentic alternative method-as my allergic rhinitis is 100% better, also my blazing headaches are gone. Now my practioner happens to be a genuine Chinese doctor-with PhD plus MD-AND an ENT> specialist-so how lucky can one get??Her name is Dr. Ping He.another "plus" is that if I have a mild headache-it disappears after I sit up in bed-no drugs to take!!-V152

Alternative therapies for allergies
- My 6 year old did homeopathy for several months earlier this year and it helped his allergies and asthma in a huge way. The only reason we stopped is that it wasn't covered by health insurance and we had to cut back our monthly expenses. We plan to go back to it one day -- as soon as we can afford it. (Prescription drugs are NOT the answer to everything, including allergies and asthma. They can make things worse because you're not helping your body heal itself. If more people took the natural, alternative approach, we would not have a healthcare crisis in this country.) Sure, some people need it... but far more do not. My son didn't need any prescription inhalers for months after his treatments, and it wasn't a placebo because he is SIX and wouldn't respond to a placebo at his age. Do your own research and don't just take what your doctor says for granted. You are your own best health advocate!

chiropractor for allergies
- I go to my chiropractor for my allergies. I'm not sure if it works, but when my neck and back are sore after the manipulation, I don't think so much about my stuffy nose.
