From the article: Steroid Side Effects
Just about everyone knows that steroids have side effects -- although most people confuse anabolic steroids used in bodybuilding with corticosteroids used in medicine to treat inflammatory conditions, such as asthma. Corticosteroids can have a wide range of side effects, especially when taken by mouth or in an injection form. Did you know about the side effects of corticosteroids? Would you have taken corticosteroids if you were aware of the side effects beforehand? Share Your Experiences

cortosol

I was hospitalized last week. My pressure was low. They did a cortosol test to check out my adrenal glands, which came back normal.. I have not been feeling well since then. I had it done Sunday and today is Saturday. I am awfully nervous, and exhausted. I feel worse now than I did when I went in the hospital. Do you think I am having a side effect to the medication? Hope you can help.. Thank You very much.. Sema
